Dopo gli studi in direzione d'orchestra sotto la guida di Marek Janowski e Jörg-Peter Weigle, è attualmente il direttore sia della Cappella Academica che dell'Alius Concentus a Berlino.
Come direttore d'orchestra ha lavorato anche con il Babelsberg Film Orchestra, l'Orchestra Filarmonica di Jena, e tutte le formazioni dell'Università Humboldt: cori e orchestre. Ha debuttato internazionalmente con la tedesca Film Filarmonica di Berlino in un tour in Cina nel 2014.
Christiane ha iniziato la sua formazione musicale a quattro anni con lo studio del pianoforte e del violino. Dopo aver completato gli studi al Liceo Musicale Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach a Berlino, ha studiato Viola presso l'Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik a Berlino con il Prof. Ditte Leser. Ha poi conseguito il titolo di "Konzertexamen" con il Prof. Erich Krüger alla Università di Musica di Weimar “Franz Liszt” nel 2009. Successivamente, come solista, ha suonato sotto la direzione di Michael Sanderling, Marek Janowski; in collaborazione con la West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Marienbad e Kammerakademie Potsdam; come musicista da camera con il Quartetto Schwieger, il Quartetto Contini e solisti della Radio Symphony Orchestra di Berlino.
Christiane studied conducting extensively under the tutelage of Marek Janowski and Jörg-Peter Weigle. She is presently the conductor of both the cappella academica and concentus alius in Berlin.
As conductor she has also worked with the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, and all Humboldt University Philharmonic Choirs and Orchestras. Her international debut with the German Film Philharmonic of Berlin was a highly celebrated tour to China in 2014.
Additionally she has been involved in the musical direction and conducting of various groups involved in cross over projects with contemporary German recording artists Ame Toki and Schwarz un Schmitz. Christiane Silber is the associate sub principal viola player of the Radio Symphony Orchestra in Berlin. She began her musical education at the age of four with piano and violin lessons. After completing her schooling at the Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach High School for Music in Berlin, she subsequently studied Viola at the Hanns Eisler University for Music in Berlin with Prof. Ditte Leser, receiving her diploma in 2003. She then obtained her "Konzertexamen" qualification with Prof. Erich Krüger at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar in 2009. Thereafter, appearances as soloist followed under the baton of Michael Sanderling, Marek Janowski and in collaboration with the West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Marienbad and the Kammerakademie Potsdam, and as chamber musician with the Schwieger Quartet, the Contini Quartet and various soloists of the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, in many live radio broadcasts throughout Europe.
